M2 promotions are around 100 students.

WHY?

Main career opportunities and employability
PhD, data analyst, in basic and applied research in the academic sector or R & D in the private sector in many fields (gene editing, biotechnology, oncology, genetic counselling, scientific communication, patenting.

HOW?

During this second year of the Master’s program (M2), students will acquire in-depth knowledge in different fields of Genetics. Core and a series of one-week optional modules covering a wide selection of topics, including human genetics, epigenetics, evolutionary genetics, developmental genetics, high-throughput data analysis, cancer biology, stem cells, neurodevelopment etc…

Students can choose seven module among a large collection of modules to create their own personalised program.Students can also take a range of advanced courses offered at the prestigious Pasteur Institute. All students attend a one-week international workshop with partner universities in Italy (Rome, Florence, Padua, Trieste, Milan), Greece (Athens) and Spain (Barcelona).
