PRESENTATION

The Graduate School « Génétique et Epigénétique Nouvelle Ecole (G.E.N.E.) » offers a training program of excellence combining teaching and research expertise of the highest order.

G.E.N.E. brings together academic and research structures that were previously independent, including the “Magistère Européen de Génétique”, two doctoral schools (Hematology, Oncogenesis and Biotherapies and Bio Sorbonne Paris Cité), and a network of leading research institutes recognized for their contributions to science and health.

International M2 students

 

Our Graduate School annually funds 10 exceptional international students entering the second year (M2) of the “Magistère Européen de Génétique (MEG)”.

4th year PhD/Postdoc Transition

Our Graduate School offers flexible funding (1 to 12 months) for PhD students seeking additional time in their 4th year to complete their thesis or for recent graduates transitioning to postdoctoral positions.

Conferences and scientific collaborations

Our Graduate School offers support to students and staff to attend conferences, establish research collaborations, and gain teaching experience in France and abroad.

Scientific events

Our Graduate School offers scientific events that provide a dynamic learning environment beyond traditional coursework, fostering intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and strong communication skills.

Course modules

Our Graduate School supports the creation of specialized modules in the European Master in Genetics to develop transversal skills, essential for students’ future careers.

Summer schools

Our Graduate School organizes intensive training for master’s, PhD, and postdoctoral researchers, building expertise in the latest advances in genetics, epigenetics, and beyond.
