Three New Graduate Schools at Université Paris Cité

Graduate Schools strengthen the ties between education and research and also contribute to the national and international reputation and appeal of Université Paris Cité. Bringing master’s and doctoral courses together, they offer cross-disciplinary teaching preparing our students’ integration in a variety of socio-economic sectors. The course is supplemented by the recent creation of three new Graduate Schools tied to the current issues and challenges our society faces.

On March 29th and April 19th 2022, the SMARTS-UP team gathered thirty graduate students for the “Ikigai” educational workshop. Led by Pascal Kolbe and Andrea Giraldo Sevilla, the workshop was based on the Japanese concept “Ikigai” of finding one’s purpose. It was the opportunity for students to explore the four key qualities of their reason for being by bringing coherence to both their academic studies and life projects.
