International M2 students
Through our G.E.N.E. Fellow Program, the Graduate School annually funds 10 exceptional international students entering the second year (M2) of the European Master in Genetics (MEG).
G.E.N.E. Fellow Program description
- A scholarship of 10,000€
- Simplified access to CROUS student housing (subject to annual availability)
Eligibility criteria to become a G.E.N.E. Fellow
- Possess a Master 1 (or its equivalent) earned in a country other than France.
- Demonstrate the essential prerequisites for enrollment in a Master 2 program in Genetics.
- Hold a nationality other than French.
- Submit a comprehensive application within the specified period during the call for applications.
Important information for applications
Prospective applicants can submit their applications online from Monday December 1st, 2025 to Friday January 16th, 2026 until noon (CET).
To avoid potential saturation of the service on the deadline day due to high traffic, we recommend not waiting until the last minute to submit your application. Additionally, please be aware of the following:
- No appeals will be entertained for applications not submitted by the deadline.
- Multiple submissions will result in none of the applications being considered.
- Personalized feedback on applications will not be provided.
Caution!
Submitting an application for the scholarship does not serve as an application for the Master’s degree, and the latter must be pursued through its designated procedure.
Scholarship recipients will be automatically granted admission to the Master’s program and are required to adhere to the standard registration protocols.
It is the responsibility of successful applicants to ensure they possess all the requisite documents for studying in France.
