Our Graduate School G.E.N.E. is pleased to announce the very first mobility grant awarded to a faculty member within our Magistère Européen de Génétique. We supported Sandrine Caburet, Associate Professor, through our mobility funding scheme, for her participation in the REBIF Days (Rencontre autour de l’Enseignement en BioInformatique en France) and the JOBIM conference (Journées Ouvertes en Biologie, Informatique et Mathématiques) 2026 in Strasbourg.

She shares her feedback:
“The two REBIF half-day sessions were very interesting, with many insightful exchanges and shared experiences on the methods and challenges of teaching bioinformatics and data analysis in French higher education and research institutions. The contacts made with other researchers and engineers open the door to promising future collaborations. The talks presented at JOBIM also gave me a better understanding of recent advances in genomic data analysis approaches and methods, and the chance to see some convincing demos. All of this will feed into both my teaching and my research.”
