From July 6th to July 8th, 2026, the Graduate School G.E.N.E. and the Institut Jacques Monod (Université Paris Cité) hosted the “Frontiers in Genome Stability and Dynamics” summer school at the Pierre-Gilles de Gennes Amphitheatre (Campus des Grands Moulins).

All the summer school participants, accompanied by the organizing committee.

Coordinated by Prof. Jean-Charles Cadoret, Dr. Sophie Polo (Polo Group), Dr. Benoit Palancade, Dr. Stéphane Marcand (CEA), and Dr. Alba Torres (G.E.N.E. Project Manager), the event brought together around 25 Master’s and PhD students, postdocs, and researchers for three days immersed in the world of 3R (Replication, Repair, and Recombination).

The program featured lectures, workshops, and practical sessions led by experts in the field, giving participants a comprehensive understanding of genome stability and dynamics.

It was a pleasure to see students so engaged and passionate! Warm thanks to all our speakers for sharing their research and availability.
