Master 1
The first year of our Master’s program (M1) focuses on strengthening core knowledge in genetics while offering a highly personalized academic track in the second semester, combined with long-term international internships designed to support progressive professional development.
The curriculum is organized into mandatory core courses in the first semester, followed by a broad selection of elective modules in the second semester that allow students to either specialize further in genetics or expand their skills into related scientific fields.
The program includes a five-month internship in one of many partner laboratories worldwide. Teaching is strongly research-oriented and emphasizes scientific practice through the analysis of research articles, laboratory work, project design, oral presentations, research institute visits, and grant proposal writing.
For students aiming for careers in industry, a dedicated course on Research and Development in Industry is also offered.
